A Dream Rolled to Perfection


Five years ago, Yoso Sushi was born out of a dream: to bring the timeless art of sushi to life in the streets of Miami’s Design District. Operating as a beloved food truck, we brought fresh, innovative, and sustainable sushi to a growing community of food lovers.

Today, that dream has flourished into a brick-and-mortar culinary haven in Upper Buena Vista. With an intimate six-seat sushi counter and a carefully curated menu, we honor our origins while redefining what high-end dining can be: welcoming, affordable, and unforgettable.

Yoso Sushi’s excellence starts with its chefs. Each brings years of experience, creative vision, and a commitment to sustainability, shaping a menu that honors Japanese tradition while embracing Miami’s bold flavors.

DENIZ AKTUG


Deniz is a Turkish-background Japanese chef with a degree in culinary arts from Turkey. After working with Michelin-star chefs in Lyon, France, she moved to Miami to specialize in Japanese fine dining. Now, as the chef de cuisine and co- owner of Yoso Sushi, a small restaurant dedicated to high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine, Deniz continues to bring creativity and precision to every dish. In addition to running Yoso Sushi, she also works as a private chef, offering bespoke dining experiences that celebrate fresh ingredients, craftsmanship, and a passion for exceptional food.

KHRISTIAN LARA


Khristian Lara is a skilled sushi chef with a passion for innovative and traditional Japanese cuisine. Born in Venezuela, pursued his culinary dreams in the United States, where he was trained in fine dining sushi restaurants.

With a dedication to quality and presentation, Khristian brings a unique blend of creativity and expertise to the sushi world. His diverse background and international experience inspire his culinary approach, balancing traditional techniques with modern flavors and ingredients.
